They should be able to concisely and accurately share knowledge with their teammates.</span></p></div><h3 data-pm-slice="1 1 []"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">ABOUT THE ROLE:</span></h3> <p class="p1">xAI is seeking an engaging and detail oriented security professional to support the ongoing growth of the organization’s security program.</p> <p class="p3"><span class="s1">Reporting to the SOC Manager, We are looking for a SOC Operator to join our Corporate Security Operations Center team. In this role, you will monitor security systems, identify and respond to incidents, and provide real-time support to employees and partners around the world. You will be responsible for maintaining situational awareness, coordinating emergency communications, and ensuring accurate documentation and escalation across all security events.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></h3> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">Monitor and manage access control, video surveillance, alarms, and other security technologies.</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">Communicate with internal partners using Slack, Jira, and other collaboration tools.</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">Identify, assess, and respond to security alerts and incidents; escalate appropriately.</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">Support emergency notifications and mass communication systems during critical situations.</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">Provide global travel monitoring and situational awareness to help keep employees safe.</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">Maintain detailed logs, reports, and documentation of all security events and responses.</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">Follow established procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of workflows.</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">Deliver excellent service and support to employees, visitors, vendors, and partner teams.</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s2">Participate in routine training, drills, and skill development to maintain readiness.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</span></h3> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">3+ years of experience in GSOC, corporate security, protective operations, or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">Hands-on experience with access control and VMS platforms (e.g., Genetec).</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">Proficiency with Slack, Jira, Google Workspace, and incident documentation workflows.</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">Experience with emergency mass notification systems and/or AI-enabled security tools is helpful.</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to stay composed under pressure.</span></li> <li class="li1"><span class="s2">A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to learn, adapt, and follow protocols with precision.</span></li> <li class="li2"><span class="s2">A collaborative, resilient, and team-oriented approach.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:</span></h3> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li1"><span class="s1">5+</span> years of experience in GSOC, corporate security, or protective operations</li> <li class="li2"><span class="s2"> Military, law enforcement, or emergency operations center experience</span><span class="s3"><span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></span><span class="s3"><span class="Apple-converted-space"><br></span></span></li> </ul> <h3>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:</h3> <p>$75,000 - $100,000 USD</p> <p class="p2">Base salary is just one part of our total rewards package at xAI, which also includes equity, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short &amp; long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and various other discounts and perks.</p> <h3><strong>ITAR REQUIREMENTS:<br></strong></h3> <ul> <li>To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
