Artificial intelligence lab building personalized, multimodal AI paired with bespoke hardware. Hark takes a vertically integrated approach — developing its own foundation models, software systems, native devices, and interfaces together rather than a single layer of the stack. Its agentic, multimodal models are designed to hold persistent memory of the user and operate across the apps and services people already use, acting as a proactive personal assistant; an initial AI platform is slated for summer 2026, with AI-native hardware devices to follow. The company trains its models at a dedicated NVIDIA B200 data center. Founded in late 2025 by Brett Adcock — previously founder of humanoid-robotics company Figure AI and electric-aircraft maker Archer Aviation — who seeded Hark with $100 million of his own capital. The roughly 70-person team is based in San Jose, California. Hark raised over $700 million in Series A funding in May 2026 at a $6 billion post-money valuation, led by Parkway Venture Capital, with the venture arms of NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm participating alongside ARK Invest, Salesforce Ventures, Brookfield, and Greycroft.
