Reflection

Reflection AI is a Brooklyn-based startup founded by former DeepMind researchers Misha Laskin and Ioannis Antonoglou (a co-creator of AlphaGo), building open-weight frontier models and autonomous coding agents. The company positions itself as an open-source alternative to closed frontier labs and a Western counterpart to China's DeepSeek. After a $2 billion round led by NVIDIA valued it at $8 billion in October 2025, Reflection raised approximately $2.5 billion in March 2026 at a $25 billion pre-money (roughly $27.5 billion post-money) valuation, bringing total funding to about $4.6 billion. The company has also signed a multiyear AI compute agreement with SpaceX worth up to $6.3 billion.
