Sixfold builds generative AI for insurance underwriting, ingesting an insurer's own guidelines to extract risk data, prioritize submissions, and advance underwriting with autonomous agents across property and casualty, life, and disability lines. Founded in 2023 by CEO Alex Schmelkin, COO Jane Tran, and CTO Brian Moseley, Sixfold is headquartered in New York. Customers include Zurich North America, Skyward Specialty, Guardian, and Generali. The company raised a $30M Series B in January 2026 led by Brewer Lane with strategic backing from Guidewire, alongside Bessemer Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures, bringing total funding to roughly $52M.
