StackBlitz develops AI-powered, in-browser web development tools, most prominently Bolt.new, an AI app builder that generates full-stack web applications from natural-language prompts and runs entirely in the browser on the company's WebContainers technology. Bolt grew rapidly after its 2024 launch, reaching tens of millions in annualized revenue and powering more than one million deployed websites. Founded in 2017 by CEO Eric Simons and CTO Albert Pai, the company is headquartered in San Francisco. StackBlitz raised a $105.5M Series B in January 2025 led by Emergence Capital and GV at a roughly $700M valuation, bringing total funding to about $135M.
