Trunk Tools builds an AI agent platform for construction, organizing the drawings, specifications, RFIs, schedules, and submittals generated across a project so field and office teams can ask natural-language questions and get sourced answers. Its agents automate document-heavy and repetitive coordination tasks for superintendents, project managers, and executives, and integrate with existing construction systems. Founded in 2021 by CEO Dr. Sarah Buchner, who brings a background in construction, the company is headquartered in New York. Trunk Tools raised a $40M Series B in July 2025 led by Insight Partners, with Redpoint Ventures, Innovation Endeavors, StepStone, Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures, and Prudence, bringing total funding to roughly $70M.
