About the Role

We’re hiring a Vendor Master Data Senior Analyst to lead the governance, integrity, and operational execution of vendor master data across Nscale’s NetSuite-centered environment.

This role sits within Operational Accounting and reports to the Senior Director, Accounting Systems. You’ll work closely with teams across Operational Accounting, Procurement, Tax, IT, and the NetSuite Administrator to ensure vendor master data is accurate, controlled, and fit for financial reporting in a growing, multi-entity business.

This is a critical control role with direct impact on financial data integrity, SOX compliance, and scalability as Nscale continues to grow and integrate new entities. You’ll own the policies, workflows, and controls that keep vendor master data reliable at the source, helping the business balance strong governance with operational efficiency.

What you'll be doing

  • Own global Vendor Master Data governance frameworks.
  • Design and maintain policies for master data creation, modification, and deactivation.
  • Ensure workflows are documented, controlled, and aligned to SOX requirements.
  • Maintain clear segregation of duties across master data processes.
  • Establish preventive and detective controls over master data changes.
  • Oversee the day-to-day processing of vendor master data updates.
  • Ensure service levels are maintained for business stakeholders while preserving control integrity.
  • Monitor data quality and proactively identify structural or control weaknesses.
  • Review and approve high-risk or sensitive master data changes.
  • Maintain documentation supporting master data controls for audit readiness.
  • Partner with Internal Audit and external auditors on walkthroughs and testing.
  • Track control deficiencies and remediation efforts.
  • Ensure evidence retention and control traceability.
  • Lead master data harmonisation for newly acquired entities.
  • Ensure newly integrated entities adhere to defined governance standards.
  • Support data migration planning and validation.
  • Partner with Operational Accounting, Procurement, Tax, and IT to ensure master data supports business needs.
  • Coordinate with the NetSuite Administrator on configuration-related impacts.
  • Support system enhancements that impact master data workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to automate master data workflows.
  • Drive standardisation and simplification of master data structures globally.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in Master Data Governance, Operational Accounting, or ERP control environments.
  • Strong understanding of Vendor Master Data and accounting reference structures within NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience operating in a SOX-compliant environment.
  • Strong understanding of segregation of duties and internal control frameworks.
  • Experience working in multi-entity, international environments.
  • Experience supporting M&A data harmonisation preferred.
  • Highly detail-oriented and process-driven.
  • Ability to balance control rigor with operational efficiency.
