About the Role:

Crusoe is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Workplace Manager to lead our New York office. This highly hands-on role will oversee day-to-day office operations, and deliver an exceptional, engaging workplace experience for a scaling employee population. Partnering closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in building strong operational foundations while shaping the office into a dynamic, well-run workplace hub. This is a highly visible, hands-on role requiring strong operational judgment, ownership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.

This is a full-time, in-office role requiring five days per week on-site presence in the New York office.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Workplace Operations Management: Oversee daily operations for the New York office, ensuring smooth functionality and a consistently high-quality employee experience as the site scales.

  • Vendor & Facilities Leadership: Manage relationships with landlords, building management, and third-party vendors (janitorial, facilities, and events) to ensure performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

  • Space Planning & Budget Ownership: Support office changes and space planning while managing the New York workplace budget to optimize costs without compromising standards.

  • Visitor Experience: Take full ownership of the arrival experience. You are the primary point of contact for anyone entering the office, providing immediate assistance and direction. You will ensure that every team member, client, and guest receives a warm, professional welcome that reflects our brand values.

  • Onboarding Support: Own the workplace onboarding experience for New York new hires, ensuring workspace setup and first-day logistics are thoughtfully executed.

  • Event & Program Management: Plan and execute New York-based employee events and programs designed to drive team connection and engagement.

  • Food & Beverage Oversight: Manage daily meal and snack programming, maintaining full ownership of associated budgets and vendor performance.

  • Process & Program Development: Design and implement scalable workplace policies, documentation, and operational workflows to support a growing team.

  • Emergency Response: Serve as the primary point of contact for building-related issues and emergencies, including after-hours response when necessary.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Experience: 5+ years in workplace, facilities, or office operations roles within fast-paced, growth-oriented organizations.

  • Operational Depth: Demonstrated experience owning day-to-day office operations and supporting office growth or expansion initiatives.

  • Fiscal & Vendor Management: Strong background in facilities oversight and managing budgets to identify operational efficiencies.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to partner effectively with People, IT, Security, and Finance teams.

  • Mindset: Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to ownership and follow-through.

  • Autonomy: Comfortable making sound decisions and operating independently within a dynamic, evolving environment.

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $130,000 - $160,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
