Supply Chain & Procurement Manager
This role acts as the strategic commercial hub for AI infrastructure supply chains, negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships to ensure critical components—from GPUs and servers to power and cooling systems—arrive reliably and cost-effectively. Unlike generalist procurement roles, specialists here partner closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and stay ahead of hardware trends, shaping sourcing strategies that directly impact data center deployment timelines and capital efficiency. The role sits within supply chain and procurement functions at rapidly scaling AI infrastructure companies, working cross-functionally with engineering, project management, and operations to translate infrastructure expansion plans into executable supplier relationships and long-term capacity commitments.

Building spend dashboards and forecasting models to support financial planning and governance
Developing negotiation playbooks and category management strategies for recurring sourcing activities
Evaluating and implementing procurement technology platforms and systems integrations
Driving supply chain readiness assessments across sourcing, lead times, cost, and quality dimensions
Building and scaling procurement operations from initial function setup through enterprise maturity
Managing procurement approval workflows, routing rules, and spend authorization controls
Managing global hardware production, logistics, and deployment operations from factory to end customer
Coordinating international shipping, customs clearance, and import-export compliance requirements
Managing customs, tariffs, and cross-border compliance considerations in global supply chains
Leveraging artificial intelligence and agentic workflows to streamline procurement and policy compliance
Building supplier master data governance and data standardization for AI-enabled procurement operations
Designing procurement intake and workflow automation to improve employee and stakeholder experience
Establishing third-party risk management and vendor risk review frameworks
Collaborating across Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Operations teams to align procurement with business priorities
